West Community Credit Union would like to congratulate our 2017 scholarship winners!
2017 marks the 22nd year West Community Credit Union has given out scholarships to well deserving high school seniors. This year’s winners are: Erica Ried, Luke Statler, Amanda Guyre, Andrew Rotter, and Jonathan Bostic.
Each year we are amazed at the quality of the candidates that apply for our scholarships. Every application is filled with merit, community service and exceptional recommendation letters from teachers and their community. It really makes it hard to narrow it down to the final six, which is a good problem to have!
In honor of David Hirst’s 22 years of dedicated service on our Board of Directors, we awarded one exceptional student, Amanda Guyre of Fort Zumwalt West High School, with an honorary David Hirst scholarship for $2000. Please join us in wishing David a wonderful retirement. We are sincerely gratitude for all that he has done for West Community over the years!
Amanda plans on attending Purdue University for Civil Engineering in the fall.
