A Look Back on CU Volunteer Day 2023: 110 Volunteers. 7 Local Organizations. 1 Mission.

While our branches are closed on the Federal holiday, Columbus Day, our entire staff still put in the work to serve our communities. Our team broke up into 7 different groups and volunteered their time with our community partners at the Veterans Community Project, KidSmart, Marygrove, Nurses for Newborns, Stray Rescue STL, the Women’s Safe House, and Friends of the Mid-Missouri Fisher House in Columbia.

From our Team Members

“Doing things like this all together outside our four-walls in the office really strengthens our bonds as partners. Thinking we are really doing something big for our community really feels fulfilling.”

“I am proud to work for a company that gives back to the community!”

“It’s a great feeling of accomplishment. Serving someone other than yourself.”

“It is wonderful to give back to the community and work together as a team.”

“I loved being a part of this experience, and I’m so happy and proud to be part of an organization that does so much for our community. I am looking forward to next year!”

We believe in making an impact in the communities in which we serve, and that’s what our Annual CU Volunteer Day is all about.
