Florissant, Mo. West Community Credit Union is pleased to announce Deatra Baker as Branch Manager of its Florissant location. In her new role, Deatra will oversee daily branch operations, support and develop the internal team, and focus on delivering exceptional member experience.
As Branch Manager, Deatra is committed to building strong relationships, encouraging collaboration, and fostering a positive, welcoming environment for both members and employees. Her leadership approach emphasizes connection, growth, and making banking feel approachable and supportive. Deatra believes great leadership starts with genuine connection, a little humor, and a lot of heart.
“I’m passionate about leading with enthusiasm, positivity, and creativity,” said Deatra. “My goal is to create a branch culture where people feel welcomed, supported, and excited to walk through our doors, whether they’re employees or members. I also look forward to becoming an active presence in the Florissant community and building lasting relationships with local partners.”
